PBE Jobbers was purchased by National Oak Distributors; as a marketing manager for PBE Jobbers Warehouse I was asked to consolidate the PBE brand and develop a transition plan to shift from PBE Jobbers Warehouse to the National Oak Distributors brands.
I was responsible for project managing the transition, including closing out publications, social media, reporting, and product line changes.
I drafted a comprehensive transition plan outlining all steps. I created a crosswalk for translating PBE products into the National Oak portfolio. I redirected web traffic to National Oak’s site and notified partners of the change. I developed a communications plan for our sales team.
Over a 6 month period, I gradually transitioned publications, digital channels, products lines, and collateral to National Oak Distributors. Minimal customer and partner impact occurred thanks to my methodical approach. I effectively closed the PBE brand, redirected everything to National Oak, and achieved significant efficiencies.
My careful management of the brand transition enabled a smooth consolidation onto National Oak Distributors with no disruption to customers. This supported our broader corporate restructuring goals while positioning National Oak for growth.
National Oak Distributors has leveraged communication channels to engage customers for years. Utilizing my content marketing skills i helped to communicate various information using email, social media, and other digital touchpoints to better connect with our audience.
I worked cross-functionally to realign our communications across channels for a consistent brand experience and maximize reach to customers with helpful, relevant content.
I developed content and communication plans to aid with social media posts help boost the National Oak branding . I worked to segment our email list to send targeted product updates, partner news, and business tips. I tracked open/click rates to optimize content. I communicated major company updates like acquisitions, e-commerce enhancements, and brand evolutions across channels.
Email open rates increased by 10% and social media followers grew by 15% in 6 months. Customers expressed appreciation for product education and business tips. Channels played a key role in smooth communication of major company changes during this time of great transition.
By taking a strategic, customer-focused approach to our communications channels, I strengthened engagement and trust with our audience while positioning National Oak as an insightful partner beyond just products. Ongoing optimization continues to nurture customer relationships.
